World Book Day

Thanks to 'The Beast from the East', the English department belatedly celebrated World Book Day on Thursday 8 March 2018.

As well as discussing our favourite books in class, we ran two lunchtime events.  Students could hunt for clues across the school to match the teacher to their favourite book, and had the opportunity to attend a Book Lovers Cafe in E2.  An enthusiastic group of students and staff met to discuss their favourite books over a slice of cake and to explain just why they loved them so much.  Thanks must go to students from 7SEn1 for helping to run these events during their lunchtime.
