GCSE Results Summary 2025

 

The data below summarises provisional key outcomes for Hobart students from the summer 2025 GCSE exams. There is no progress 8 for this cohort because they did not complete year 6 SATs due to the C19 pandemic.

 

Congratulations to the class of 2025 – a group who had fantastic attitudes to learning.  Thank you to staff and families for your support of these great young people.  We wish students all the very best for the future, and look forward to hearing of your future successes.

 

Overall Attainment for English + Maths

  • Percentage of students achieving grade 4 or better in English and Maths 70.8%
  • Percentage of students achieving grade 5 or better in English and Maths 50%

Pupil Destinations after Hobart

The most recent destinations data published by the DfE for Hobart students is for destinations of pupils who were at the end of key stage 4 in 2022/23.  For these Hobart students, 93% stayed in education or employment for at least 2 terms after completing key stage 4. This figure is in line with the national average.
