GCSE Results Summary 2026

 

The data below summarises provisional key outcomes for Hobart students from the summer 2026 GCSE exams. There is no progress 8 for this cohort because they did not complete year 6 SATs due to the C19 pandemic.

  

Overall Attainment for English + Maths

  • Percentage of students achieving grade 4 or better in English and Maths 68.4%
  • Percentage of students achieving grade 5 or better in English and Maths 47%

 

Attainment 8 score per pupil  

  • Average attainment 8 score per pupil:  4.62

Pupil Destinations after Hobart

The most recent destinations data published by the DfE for Hobart students is for destinations of pupils who were at the end of key stage 4 in 2022/23.  For these Hobart students, 94% stayed in education or employment for at least 2 terms after completing key stage 4. This figure is higher than the national average.
