Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.
GCSE Results Summary 2024
The data below summarises provisional key outcomes for Hobart students from the summer 2024 GCSE exams. It is most meaningful to compare results to 2019, the last summer exam series before the pandemic.

Overall Attainment for English + Maths

Student Destinations after Hobart
The most recent destinations data published by the DfE for Hobart students is for those students who left in 2022. For this cohort, 93% of our students stayed in education or employment for at least two terms after completing key stage 4 which is in line with local and national averages.
